What do you think about manufacturing jobs? Are they any good? Do we need/want them back? Do you or have you worked for one? Did you like it?

I'll never work in one ever again unless it was unionized.

They are important and a necessity, well I suppose that is until they are all fully automated with little human oversight. Regards they are important for tangible intrinsic wealth, there's a reason the kikes sold out American manufacturing to China, look at the wealth and prosperity it brought them that should have stayed in America.

manufacturing in the backbone of a nation
a nation that cannot sustain its own population through its own labor is no nation at all
service sector jobs are not jobs at all, but day care for worthless adult-sized children
men, actual men, create, produce, manufacture, build

This. The 12 hour shifts of 2 weeks straight with no days off and working around felons with facial tattoos and zoomers with drama club level BS was enough to drive a man insane.

unironically got tinnitus working in a loud factory and want to kill myself everyday. Do not fall for the manufacturing job meme. They give you like $3 more than minimum wage in exchange for sacrificing your body through hours and hours of physical labor.

I have permanent damage to my back and foot thanks to a manufacturing job. No thanks I'll stick being a low paid accountant sitting at a desk.

I’m in manufacturing and it’s really not too bad, my body hurts a little after work, but I’ve been in worse jobs like warehousing and picking which were 5x harder physically. This job I work to technical drawings and have some room to think before I take action on a project

Didn't you wear earplugs/earmuffs?

I work in manufacturing. It's a niche field that will never be outsourced and isn't going to be automated for a very long time.
>27 years old
>management role
>$50k/yr
>high CoL living area, basically this is just barely a decent wage here
>decent benefits/PTO
>don't see the light of day save for a few smoke breaks
>owner inherited the company and shows up maybe once a month
I rate it a 3/10. I fucking hate the work but it allows me to stock up on crypto. If I wanted to I could probably stay at this company for my entire working life and max out my pay at like $100k. Definitely not doing that though
