I wouldn't buy CLF. Compare the gains of it to the rest of the iron pellet sector. It only really pumped up above then today. It tells me they already priced in any good news or this is just another P&D and will see the numbers drop just as fast as it came. Their balance sheet and income statements also looks dismal and would be a huge risky play. They have shrinking revenue and debt load over 100%. It might gain in short term but like any commodity stock, the price of the commodity matters most. If prices go up this stock skyrockets because you know they won't go bankrupt but the reverse is also true.

Tl;Dr I hope you know lots about the iron pellet sector and have faith in it's recovery.

Just have to do some DD before you buy random stocks. Not to say CLF can't make money. If it announced a deal to be bought out, the shares would go up but all the financials look horrid. They need to do something dire about their cash as it looks like they are going to run out soon. That would require selling assets or try to get more loans which will be difficult with over 100% debt ratio. It looks like this company could declare bankruptcy literally any minute based on its numbers with the only saving grace is the pellet price has gone up last few months.
