Tesla is the worst shit tier stock ever

German car producers are publishing full electric cars in the next two years. Check out the Porsche Taycan, the absolute Model S killer.

Tesla is in so much debt, they will crash harder than Lehman Brothers as soon as the Hype is over. 100% bankrupt in 2025

VW and Mercedes are producing electric trucks as well. Why should Tesla be any better than something produced by a company with hundreds of years of experience?

Tesla makes cars but they are going to crack either driverless cars or have a major breakthrough in battery tech. The cars are almost a way to fund their R&D. That’s why makes this company a wild card. It could be one of the most valuable stocks in history or it could crash and burn so hard. Either way it’s hard to ignore the cult around this company...it reminds me very much of the early apple cult in the mid 90s. That is a decent indicator of staying power. It’s worth putting a little money in if you can spare it...the gamble could snatch a few Lambos if you play it right.

I will actually. And will do it with money I can "afford to lose" in fact (ie, will hodl to zero).

However I do kinda expect to, uh, go a bit lower.

Maybe a position at 150 or so. And then another one in the double digits if it ever reaches them.

Tesla cars are pretty trendy and all, but look past their shiny product; their business is way overstretched into the red right now and they're infamously struggling to scale customer service. All the major manufacturers are moving to electric in the next 5-10 years. I drive a Leaf and the amount of electrics I see at the charge-points and on the road has exploded in the past year, but the vast majority of them are Nissan and Hyundai and just the odd Tesla. Now the German manufacturers are gearing up for electrics and they are going to give Tesla a serious run for their money with much more stylish luxury cars. Props to Tesla for making electric sexy, but they're a tech company in one of the most entrenched cut-throat industries in the world and while I don't think they'll go under, I think now the big boys will overshadow them

not much less than tesla. Especially since Tesla released their patents, so the technology they've invented is free for use to any manufacturer. So tesla doesnt even really have the first mover advantage here.

green my ass, batteries are not “green”, lithium/cobalt extraction and production of battery packs is highly polluting, sure they pollute in Africa and China instead of years it neighborhood, but that’s not a solution
Then you also forget that there is not enough lithium supply to switch to 100% electric
Then you also forget that you still need to produce electricity
