In the world of finance, trading, and investment (probably most entrepreneurship in general) there's absolutely nothing wrong with killing yourself under certain conditions. It's pretty much like the captain going down with his ship or a military leader choosing to kill themselves rather than return home or be captured when so many of their subordinates didn't return or have the option to surrender.

Death is a real part of life coming for everyone and there's nothing wrong with taking a damn strong shot with everything you have to get what you want, fighting and fighting until there's no fight left in you, and "cashing out" if things don't work out and there is no meaningful hope of them working out. Life isn't a fairy tale. Things don't in fact always work out in the end. It's courageous to look that fact in the face and say "i'm not dancing anymore."
