Not bragging or w/e just letting y'all know the situation.

>800 credit score
>No debt
>Spend less than 1k a month.

What card would be best for cash back purposes? Currently I use my debt card which I know is stupid and not taking advantage of the cash back deals.

>> No.13932958

Depends what you spend your money on. These are the cards I have
Amex blue cash
>6% gas
>3% groceries
Visa cash back card
>1.5% on all purchases
Amazon card
>5%, sometimes more on all Amazon purchases

There might be some better ones out there for cash back but these work well for me

Is 1.5% the going rate that I am going to get on the general cash back cards? That seems to be a reoccurring percentage.

I don't think they can make money giving you more than that without cutting special deals or owning the service you're buying from.

Change the 1.5% cash back on evrrything for a 2.0% cash back like double cash from citi. It has a minimum of 25$ to take out money though. But yes you have to juggle credit cards if you want the best cash back for different things. I recommend putting it in auto payroll if you dont wanna miss a payment because having many credit cards can make you lose track of things.

It's pretty shit, unless you are wanting to buy apple products from them, which are already overpriced. Yes the interface feels cool and having the apple logo in your credit card is nice, but it's not the best card out there. For cash back.

Do these amounts of cash back change frequently based on the economy? For instance, if I were to wait for the next recession to open a card would that improve the % back I might get?

I have not tracked this stuff long enough to know any sort of trends in this world.

Also, I back with USAA and they offer a no fee 1.5% card which I may just get in order to make things as simple as possible and need only one portal.

>> No.13933187

>>13933119
No, 1.5% is the industry standard for no-frill cards. Any card above that is going to have some stipulations or specific terms associated with it.

My Visa card is good because I track it with an app that's very easy to use and the cash back is immediately available with no minimum.

Those fucking niggers at citi approved me and told me I'd get my card in 7 days, then I got a rejection letter in the mail instead because they pulled my credit, counted that as a hard inquiry, and said I had too many (The only other inquiry on my credit would have been from chase a few months back for an Amazon card). I had to go limping to chase instead for another card instead, but their freedom unlimited gives 3% back for the first year so citi can suck my dick!

I have a Chase Sapphire Reserve because I travel a lot for work and have a comfy job where I can expense dinner and ubers home from work. I get 4.5% cash back on this (because I use cash back on travel). I also get priority pass in airport lounges (which I use frequently) and $300 travel credit. I love it and have already racked up enough points since opening it in December for an all-expense paid trip to New Zealand from NYC.

Since you're not a big spender, I reccommend the Chase Freedom Unlimited, $150 signup bonus, no fee, 1.5% cash back. I think there are some double cash cards with a similar deal and 2% back.

Yeah, poverty is a bitch. Imagine losing out on so many benefits because you must pay things with paper because you're too irresponsible to pay off your balance. Western Europe is such a faux-prosperous region, and to think leftists actually consider it the land of milk and honey for some oddball reason.

Imagine being this impoverished. Christ.

1-3% cash back, free travel, free hotel, free restaurant dining, sign up bonuses, late check out, free access to airport lounges, free protection if you got scammed or robbed. By not leveraging credit cards to your advantage you're losing out to monstrous benefits.

The "I'm afraid of credit" mentality are the shackles of the poor. Starve to death, faggot.

The banks pay me to use their money.
