So if the price per order is e.g. 0.01 USD, you will get an equivalent of (0.01 USD / current LINK price).

So if you would process 100 calls in one day, your income would be (100 calls * 0.01 USD / current link price).
If the link price is 10USD, you would only get 0.1 LINK in the above invoice, if the link price is 1USD, you would get 1 LINK.

So if all idiots buy LINK after your operation, the price rises due to higher demand, most idiots don't run nodes, so they don't help the network and make sure that true node operators get less LINK.

ALSO! Node operators and developers are useful for the network! A low LINK price is good for node operators to get as much LINK as possible in the first phase of 1-2 years.
