XMR is the gold standard, and the markets will soon reflect this.

>> No.13873029

well well with 1% tail emission I am afraid xmr cant compete with btc, just like gold is shit wth an inflation rate of 1,6%. btc is kang nigga

>gold standard
doesnt exist. gold standard implies it is real gold. that you can exchange it for real gold at any time. we all saw what happened though. the wealth owned by the poeple had it stolen from them by the jews.

jesus how are people this retarded
XMR is the new digital store of wealth that is totally and unequivocally, private. global currency is coming. monero will be an integral part of the new global currency system.

how come my wallet deposit got unlocked in 15 minutes? hmm must be a lot of hashpower behind monero then.

Finally someone with a brain , yes btc will break lower inflation levels than gold , usd and eur next year and it will enter a ethernal bullrun relative to fiat and gold.

after the 18something million cap is reached then the block size goes to 0.6 XMR per block permanently...it ensures miners always have incentitive to mine; the price will go up organically as a result and as more people choose to keep their finances private... well.

looking good because chart ends in 2020. paying a higher inflation for more privacy might be a good deal but xmr also has other problems on the scaling side of things and the growth size of the blockchain

This reminds me, I might be selling my XMR. I heard they are going to change the mining so that everyone effectively has the same hashpower while mining. Can anyone confirm this? It's a fucking awful idea if they're actually doing it.

>> No.13874074

not sure what you mean. the algorythm is asic resistant so normal retail gpus can mine at a profit but that requires an adjustment every 6 months, so it can stay asic resistant, but that requires a hard fork every time. worked until now, so...

Monero is one of the few currencies I actually like and see a future in. Especially with all the regulatory talk from faketoshi about not following policies if the government finds a way to fuck crypto over monero is going to moon hard.

Also real surprised that in this market monero hasn't seen any major moves like all these other actual shit coins

how you figure?

Imo it does limit them actually becoming mainstream as big companies etc aren't going to back them, but as a consumer I value privacy coins alot

It means that in a world with infinite fiat btc will moon as fees will be enough to keep miners working while monero will always be suffering from inflation even if low.

On a world currency level yes you should want a little inflation.
But crypto will not replace currency it prospers in the middle of keynsian retardation not the other way around.

yep sounds about right, SpectreCoin is pretty neat in the privacy coin sector.
