i am cursed to be poor forever. How do i break this curse? I lost 5k on shitcoins, now worth about 1k.... i lost 1k of bitcoin from my shitty computer basically not having enough memory to upload the entire bitcoin hard wallet and when i went to try and move the hard wallet to a separate wallet that wallet that didnt require downloading every single previous transaction, it never showed up. still waiting for 2k worth of pms to moon, but its gone to new lows the past few months. I broke my back working on a pot farm for a summer, only to get ripped off of my 10k payment form my shady boss, but it was all under the table stuff and there was basically nothing i could do to get the money. I should be up 20k than where im at now minimum, but honestly even more than that, so many other lost opportunities i missed. Went from having 20k in the bank to now being a neet with a couple grand, and i have to go back to being a wagie just to keep my parents happy. seriously fuck my life. How to break the poor mans curse? Put my last 2k in bitcoin?

think of all that hardship as experience. you saw so many opportunities, you gave yourself a lot of chances to make it, but none of them worked out. now crypto is very cruel but also surprisingly forgiving. there is a new opportunity every day as long as you have the ability to take it. put that last 2k in and use what you've learned to find the next opportunities. gl fren

Don't put all you have left into a shitcoin that's just unnecessary risk at this point I'd think. Put it into bitcoin and try and get the other 1k back, is it actually lost?

If you believe bitcoin is going to reach 20k again hell or even 100k like some are saying you'll make your lost profit back on putting the rest in with the remaining 2k.
If you feel like this is too risky I'd just pull out of crypto completely if you can't handle it.

If you haven't sold then you haven't lost a cent. Here's what I want you to think about going forward: Do you believe in the projects you bought into? If you do, the current price doesn't matter. If you don't, then it is your fault for buying in. Even if you're not happy with what you bought, do not sell until you find something you believe in. I don't put a fucking cent in unless I think it's good.

thanks man, your right, things could be alot worse. thanks for helping put that in perspective. Its just tough literally waiting for a break for years and keep getting the shit end of the stick, watching my bank account dwindle and searching for a new opportunity that just doesnt show up. but things could get better quickly. there are only 5 ways to get rich (excluding inheritance and lottery/gambling). Every rich person has done one of these:

1. start a business and successfully take it to IPO/franchise

2. create something new (invention, art)

3. become a celebrity or professional athlete

4. real estate development

5. investing

of course none of these are guarantees. the majority of people who devote their whole lives to these pursuits never make it. but if you're not doing one of these you're not even in the game.
