ETH is interesting but the core Ethereum community is horrific. I sold a significant amount of my holdings after getting to meet a few of them in Denver and also after looking into the backgrounds and social media of the rest.

The thing keeping them Going, and the only reason I hold the small stack that I have left, is their eternal desire for gibsmedat and they think they can build enough value into ETH that they won't need to work for fiat ever again. We will see. The structure of Ethereum rests on a very shoddy foundation of legit psychos and anarchists who are not nearly as talented as they could be or should be. Most of Ethereum "developers" are freeloading retards who contribute a tiny amount and retain control of a huge stack of this shitcoin that went crazy in 2017. It is very much like a tech startup trying to stay together after an over valued ipo made the fuckups in the org millionaires overnight due to stock options.

My rough estimate is that 75% of people involved with eth development shouldn't be. 10% actually work together and know what they are doing, and 15% are non-coders that are involved for no reason to "manage" things.

Sounds bad? Well other shitcoin development is way worse. Again part of the reason I still hold eth. Most shitcoin startup projects only have 1 or 2 people who are generating usable code. Many have none at all and outsource everything since their scam is nothing more than an erc20 or cryptonote garbage.

The absolute state of crypto development is absurd.

The idea of a IPO/ICO to me is off putting. I like the mining distribution PoW model. Sure development moves slower but it's more decentralized.
