I know this is right but it's so hard. I've always feared/suspected I was considered a failure and a bit of a loser.

I want to tell them that I made money. But I've made the decision to cut the amount by 10. Example, I make 1MM from Link, I tell family I made 100k. Is this acceptable or is it still a bad idea?

this is selfish op. I've decided to take my family along with me, my mother knows she owns 10k link and is NEVER FUCKING SELLING. Shes going to be a millionaire in a few years. My father has 10k and knows nothing of it, doesnt get this shit.

I will also provide them with a small folio of BTC/ETH and i think that they will be grateful.

My family already knows about Link though. I bought it back in Sep '17 and told everyone I got a 20k stack (I've since increased a lot but didn't tell them that). So all they have to do is look at the price to know how much I have with 20k if they still remember me mentioning that almost 2 years later. I've also been shilling my brothers and grandparents on Link for a while, so they know I would not sell, especially since I told them about node running and profits (this was a big thing when I was shilling it to them, and my brother bought a suicide stack so he's in on at as well). Plus I am a neet, and sometimes they come in and ask me how Link is doing every few weeks, I can't lie about the price when they could just check it themselves. So I tell them if it went up and down.

If I told them I sold early and didn't make a million, but then suddenly take massive holidays overseas and start doing all this other stuff, they are gonna know I was lying.

I got my whole family to buy it with me. Brother 8k, mom 3k, stepdad 16k, dad 10k. Got 10k myself. They're buying mainly cause they believe in me. It's either gonna be glorious or embarrassing haha
