Whoa slow down there man. Take a breather. I know everyone wants to be rich but the more you spend chasing money the more your life is going to be shitty. Just go outside tomorrow, smell the roses, take a deep breath and appreciate life. If all you live for is money and wanting it, you'll be miserable, money comes and goes. Dont be a slave to money, you werent born to be a slave to it. Mastering money takes time, enjoy life man. Its all this technology that doesnt let us humans slow down, we always have to be connected and while that's not necessarily a bad thing, we shouldnt be plugged in all the time. Just take a breather, do something you like, read a book outside, idk but the moment you stop chasing money and the moment you stop worrying about everything and just living life you'll be 100x happier, secret to happiness is appreciating what you have.
Pic unrelated.

i know money isn't happiness. money won't get rid of my tinnitus. But money is a necessity of life and I have to acknowledge it. Not having money means you don't have freedom in this world, its not the paper bills i want, its the freedom. So it hurts when I know I could've had a life changing amount of freedom but got screwed over.

it is what it is tho. I do love life, which is why I don't want to waste my entire life being a waging away at some soulless job.

I will change your life, anon. I'm guessing you don't sleep very well either.

>St. John's Wort, two capsules per day
>Chamomile tea, chilled or hot. One or two glasses/cups per day.

Chamomile tea has gamma-aminobutyric acid as one of its active ingredients. It's a neurotransmission chemical that aids sleep while reducing anxiety and depression. St. John's Wort's active ingredient is serotonin, essentially it floods your brain with the thing depressed people don't have and which depressed people take SSRIs. Both can be had for utterly trivial monetary costs. Be well, anon.

You probably not wearing them correctly. Were you working in a non-union factory? If so they don’t give a shit about you and wouldn’t bother explaining safety or paying you for your injury. What kind of factory is this? I’ve worked in factories so loud you can’t hear each other yelling but as long as I wore my earring protection as directed I had no problems.

A few tips from a tinitus veteran (I'm 29, been suffering from it since I was 21) with high trait neuroticism:
- Don't try to fight it. What I mean by that is, stop thinking about getting rid of it. The most paradoxical thing about tinnitus is that the more you accept that you have it, the less you notice it. Mindful meditation can help.
- The degree to which you notice your tinnitus is very much connected to the phyisological mechanisms of stress, anxiety, and fatigue, especially (as above) if you focus your anxiety on the tinnitus. Try to increase your conscientiousness, which helps with neuroticism. Jordan Peterson is meme-tier when it comes to politics or philosophy but the advice he gives born of his clinical psychology experience is helpful as fuck in this respect (look up what he says about making a schedule etc).
- Because there is such a strong psychological element to how much you notice your tinnitus, while you shouldn't have the mentality of being in a fight against it, you should definitely (but you are probably already doing this) take precautions to avoid situations where loud noise will bring it to mind and cause you to be anxious about it for a few hours or days. This is one of the worst parts of managing your tinnitus — I can no longer do things like cycling because a loud motorcycle roaring past will TRIGGER me — but it is necessary.

Larger picture:
- You can't change the past, so stop fucking mulling over it. If there's one thing that's outside of your control, it's your past. Your future is in your hands, your future is yours to shape, your future is one giant fucking opportunity, especially since you're presumably in your early to mid-20s. What can you do to seize that opportunity?
- Do your best to find a quiet wagecucking job then present your parents with a plan to pay them back.
- If you don't tell the truth, at least don't lie. This is another thing that Peterson is so damn right about — when you lie it's like a hydra where you've killed one snake and spawned ten others. You just get caught in a scaffolding of lies that hurts you and others. Lying is more often than not compound investment in a problem when honesty will more often than not get you the help you need.

thank you based anon, I try to keep a positive perspective,

but it is seriously hard to tell someone to avoid thinking about something that is so prevalent.

an analogy for tinnitus, its like having a fire alarm going off in your head that you can't turn off 24/7.

I went like 8 months with no static noise or anything to mask it at night. I lost so much sleep and I would be laying in my bed wishing i could just die. no fun.

now I distract myself from it with the hearing aid things I got and other noise... but if I am in a quite room by myself I still cannot ignore the immense suffering that it causes me. I don't put myself in that situation often, but it is tragic that I can never be in a quite environment alone with my thoughts, takes a toll on you. Its like I've been running away trying to avoid it, but its like a demon in the back of my mind I know is there.

i try my best to keep positive in all this though. If I could transfer whats in my mind to other regular people, they would most likely be suicidal as hell also, I don't see how anyone could find this pleasurable.

If you were wearing them correctly and still got it, and other people around you got it too, and you can prove that, then you have grounds to sue. The company did not provide adequate protection. Maybe you should have gotten ear plugs and over ears but they didn't want to buy the secondary protection for their employees.
