Tellurium is 4 times more scarce than gold in the earths crust and recent findings in the Sun-Yat Sen university in China have determined that Tellurium can be used for water desalinization.

Currently some 600 metric tones are being pulled out the ground annually, mostly as byproducts of copper mining. The production is going to increase but because of scarcity peak tellurium will come more sooner than later. Because tellurium is considered a critical metal by the US govt and proven research of its use for water desalinization, as well as future water crisises being apparent, I think its best to invest in tellurium.

1kg of tellurium is less than $100 USD. Tellurium is rare, rarer than gold. Demand will shoot up in ten years time. Better invest now.

Aliway but I don’t trust chinks. Belmont metal is more reliable but you’ll buy kg ingots and not small ounces. You have to contact them to actually buy the stuff.

It’s a long term investment (10 years). By the time shortages become apparent there would be a lot of buyers of tellurium.

>Tellurium and tellurium compounds are considered to be mildly toxic
>Humans exposed to as little as 0.01 mg/m3 or less in air exude a foul garlic-like odor known as "tellurium breath".[59][79] This is caused by the body converting tellurium from any oxidation state to dimethyl telluride, (CH3)2Te. This is a volatile compound with a pungent garlic-like smell

You shoyldnt be interested in price, look at potential profit. Noone makes you buy 1kg of rhodium.
Tellurium is a fucking byproduct. If aomehow Cu was no longer needed, Te might have become more expensive since now you have to produce lots of trash Cu to obtain Te. But it is the reverse. Cu is needed everywhere, and Te is just a bonus to Cu.

Not related to metals, but one of my ancestors (white guy) was best friends with Sun-Yat Sen and helped him establish modern China. Sun-Yat Sen is the godfather to not only China, but my ancestor's son.

Yet here I am, broke (but no debt) and working in the food service industry.
