FL does not use cult tactics however, they actively push people away who are talking to the admins, there are people who will tell you bold faced lies to get you to stop researching, the site uses some sort of AI to compile the research and im pretty sure the AI monitors their emails and cuts you off sometimes and removes portions of text from your emails, you need to constantly send them emails as well or they will just not reply, they give you ridiculous amounts of reading and pronounciation to do yet they somehow know when you are lying to them about having completed it. It is an uphill battle of mundaneness in all honesty to learn something from the site, and to top it off despite 8 years of daily content they keep the sites index ranking extremely low on purpose, and dont index most pages at all, so they get less than 50 views a day. if it were a cult it might be the worlds worst.

Thank you for showing me this, I have never found this site in any of my research despite it sharing multiple overlapping terms.

My consensus is that the owner of the site does not know about forgotten languages, however he is privy to the same information. I make that assumption due to the way he speaks about topics such as neutrino research, the death of humanity through automation, and the political show being undermined by the military industrial complex. The way he presents what he views as facts is inheritenly the same facts FL proposes, the open ended conclusions however differ slightly and seem to be slightly tainted by modern conspiracy think. All in all a very good source, once again thank you for bringing this to my attention as this overlaps heavily with much of the content. I never found this once in any of my research and feel ashamed.

On a purely analytical side your best bet if you cannot see the plans coming ahead of time would be to figure out the weak points of society and strengthen yourself towards them. If your refering to being a good person I have come to this conclusion through reading much philosophy, wolfe is what i would recommend at the moment, and reading the gnostic gospels as they are also very philosophical if read the right way.
If you are talking about general collapse preparedness I must admit plebbit does have the superior community for this. /r/economiccollapse has almost 7 years worth of economic articles you can use and is very realistic with what will help. I would avoid gold bug communities and preper communitys however for a multitude of reasons.
In general just keep searching, let your mind wander to what seems intriguing yet still consistant with your focus and you will find yourself more knowledgeable for it.
