> Tesla Inc. will probably miss its 2019 delivery target range as the U.S. electric-car maker’s sales shrink in China amid a trade war between the two countries, according to Loup Ventures co-founder Gene Munster.
> Munster cut his estimate for Tesla’s full-year global car sales by about 10% to 310,000 vehicles, versus the minimum 360,000-unit target the manufacturer set in March, the analyst wrote Thursday in a report. He also slashed his estimate for China’s share of the company’s deliveries by half.
> “We are lowering our numbers as a precautionary measure related to two unknowns,” including China’s probable imposition of tariffs on Tesla car imports as well as other impediments such as new regulations on sales or a potential consumer boycott of U.S. goods, Munster said. Loup’s pessimism on the import fees is a “minority view,” discounting most investors’ view that Tesla will remain exempt because of its investment in a Chinese battery factory, he said.

> Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas, who earlier this week said that Tesla stock could plunge to as low as $10 in a worst-case scenario, held a private call with investors Wednesday in which he said the company is “seen more as a distressed credit and restructuring story.”

Got myself into a new position recently.

Let's talk about $VRUS

Someone tell me the obvious thing I'm missing that makes this a scam.

It trades at $0.01 but;
>It has millions of dollars in revenue, audited by a seemingly legit company
>It has received a non-dillutive loan from a bank for $600k
>It has a million dollars from a private investor (Andrew Garnock, apparently famous for investing in $CRON before it mooned)
>0 toxic financing

I don't get it, why is this fucking thing trading at $0.01?

Am I going to get my asshole reamed?

There's margin call on TSLA already, mom's spaghetti
Tpump nervous, but on the surface he looks old and ready
To drop bombs, but he keeps on forgettin'
What he spoke about when the whole crowd was loud
He opens his mouth, but "Stop wars" words won't come out
He's orange, how, everybody's jokin' now
The clocks run out, times up, cover, now!
Snap back to reality, oh there goes gravity
Oh, there goes tariffs, he imposed on his allies
He's mad, but he won't give up that easy? No
He won't have it, he knows his whole country is broke

"Diversifying" when you're dealing with baby Bux is brainlet tier.

I don't know how much that entire portfolio is worth but let's say it's $2k.

Instead of splitting the entire thing over 25 different stocks and earning $20 each you should be putting your baby sum into one stock and getting bigger returns.

If you put $2k into PLUG at $2.3 and it's at $2.53 now you would have $200 instead of $12.

You're shooting yourself in the foot by "diversifying" chump change. If you're dealing with huge sums of money you don't put it all into one stock because of liquidity issues and senseless risk.

If you want to diversify baby Bux buy an index ETF.

that's really not the reason. the QE that was put in during the last financial crisis was never removed. the fed tried to roll it back since they can see the writing on the wall but the whole country spazzed on them to stop raising rates. so now we won't be able to do it again since we were too greedy and lazy to fix everything. housing prices are passing 2006 levels and people and corporations are taking on more debt than ever before, and with non-banks starting to dominate the lending market credit worthiness is taking a nose dive, so people with donkey-shit tier credit scores can buy million dollar houses. you just wait kid, you have no clue.

Musk mentioned many times how few car companies survive actually, statistically it's one of toughest market. In big picture tesla has changed lot of the market, forced all large companies to go electric quixker etc, so without tesla there would still be focus on combustion engines. Electric cars/engines are far more better, they are stronger, more efficient, less changeable parts, and easier to repair etc etc. only takes now at least 5 years where the batteries become 50-80% cheaper. So Musk did eachieve that he pushed technology world wide to advance

The biggest reason I would switch to another broker would be advanced order options like stop loss and whatnot, but right now I am actively managing my stocks and set limit sales to targeted gains.

I am also convinced that the RH volume selling helps the low volume options play. A lot of wide bid/ask spreads get sold right in the middle and I think the RH algo is the one doing the buying on those. Otherwise I have had trouble selling them in regular brokers.

Well China is used to boycott countries that that they don't like. Many of them were semi-official in the sense that you can see some comment from state media supporting those options, they tried it against Japan during Senkaku dispute, they tried it against Korea during the THAAD deployment
HOWEVER it doesn't seems like such trend/comment against America have formulated/released yet. There are some individual users and also some online communities that talks about abandoning Apple phones for using Huawei phones instead, but I don't think there are wide support on those opinion at this point of time. On the other hand, even a number of significant individuals, like Huawei's CEO itself, or the head of the propaganda paper Global Times, are also telling people not to boycott Apple. So while the iPhone sales in China will most likely be affected, I don't think what happen now will become a wide scale boycott movement. Of course, future is uncertain.

2. Yes. You just gotta seperate the lip service from the real. For instance, he’s so tied up in Apple he couldn’t say sell at $110 with trump talking shit on Xi, so he had to be diplomatic but very clear it was not a buy.

In fact, his image is so tied up in Apple that he can’t ever really say “sell it”, just that things are going to be rough for a while while you HODL.

I believe he’s almost entirely cash right now, and I wish I would’ve listened to him when he said to sit on your hands. Also when he said to buy the dip in Twilio. Also, when he said buy AMD into earnings. Also, when he that Target’s CEO is money, right before earnings.

Do you have the smarts and the balls to try to catch the falling knife in a depression?

The peak of the DOW in August 1929 was 380, yet it didn't bottom out until June 1932 at 42.

Let's be generous and say you averaged into your position and achieved 100. Your position will rise until 1937 to 187, and then if you bag hold you'll go back to 100 again in 1938.

It'll rise again up to 140 pre WW2, but then shit the bed again in 1942 to 100.

So that's a decade of your life and savings that have done fuck all if you didn't sell at the highs.

If you survive the war with your life and portfolio intact, you'll enjoy the fruits of the 50s and 60s though. You'll go up to 900 in 1965, but then you'll ping pong within a range of 1000 and 600 for the next decade.

You'd need to have balls of steel. And the probability is that you'll lose your job at some point during the 1930s, which will cloud your judgement even further.
