Can /biz/ enlighten me why he's like this? Is there another side to this where I'm the idiot and he knows what he's doing?

Should I just shut up and deal with it until I've been there 6 months? The job is fine otherwise and I dont want a short stint on my resume.

>>13780168
You dont.

>>13780225
It's possible, but that's why I'm asking.

I dont understand the logic in treating every issue like it's the employee's fault before you've even given them a chance to tell you why it happened.

What is wrong with your generation?
>everything has to be done his way
He's the boss for a reason
>interrupts you to correct you in sentences
Just stop talking shit and babbling around. Get to the point.
>interrupts you to question why something was done this way or why a deadline has moved back before giving you a chance to explain the external factors that have nothing to do with you
If deadlines change, tell him asap. He doesn't give a crap, why it happened, he just has to know to plan accordingly.
If you don't do something the way he want's it to be done you better have a fucking reason for it. If you have, than tell him. If not, then why did you do it another way?
>when something goes well its thanks to him, when something goes badly its thanks to you
>overhear him talking to a coworker today and he said "I'm the most reasonable person you'll ever meet" without a shred of irony
Based on your previous points this sounds about fucking right.

I mean he'll ask you something and interrupt you ten words into your response.

>deadlines change, tell him asap. He doesn't give a crap, why it happened, he just has to know to plan accordingly.
I work on individual projects where he has no input what so ever.

>why did you do it another way?
Because I'm not a robot and my way is better.

Or like the other Anon said:

You are just a stupid kid that knows nothing and he is right all the way.
Thats not so uncommon and quite a possibility. 20-25yo's are noobs that have no clue how the real world works.

He's interrupting you ten words into your response because ten words were all he needed to understand it. Chances are he's heard this shit before and doesn't have time for another explanation. If he has no input, it's even more important that you communicate with him, because he's not overseeing the project. Your way is only better if you have some fucking numbers to back it up, not if you just "feel" like it's better.

Does this sound familiar?
>Boss: How's Project A going?
>You: Well, you know. When I met Stacy back at the breaking room we had this intersting discussion about...
If yes, stop it. Short sentences with the info he asked you. If he needs more background, he'll ask further questions.

>I work on individual projects where he has no input what so ever.
He's your boss. He pays you to do work and deliver it either to his boss or the client. Even if he has no input, he has to know because he is responsible for the output. Even if it is a project for another department he has to know. Why? Because he has to plan his resources accordingly. You are not 100% available to him while you're doing other things.

>Because I'm not a robot and my way is better.
WHY IS IT BETTER?
Is it more cost efficient? Does it lead to better results? Does it satisfy your customer better?
Just because YOU like it that way doesn't mean it's automatically better.

No, but if I had an appointment, I'd let tge other party know, I was beeing late and give a time estimate.
Stop thinking you know everything better than everybody else. You do not. You have no experience, neither in the workplace (as stated by yourself) nor in live in general as a 23 year old. Do as your boss tells you and shut up until you know why he want's you to do it a particular way. Then you can come up with ways to improve.
