ICX staff just tweeted that the Korean government will be using ICX's platform for their new citizen cards that will allow Koreans to use government services easily.

Fuck all of you "buttfuck coin" posters. Fuck everyone on this site. Your FUD is SHIT.

Btw this tweet is from an official ICON team member. Ricky Dodd's is ICON’s Head of Institutional Markets and Contributor Relations.

Coming from him, I think we can count on this being a confirmation of the dots we've all been connecting.

God I hope this coin actually does something I’ve been bagholding like 800 of them for 2 years now. I wonder if I should buy more or just accept this might be a dead gook scam.

transaction fees will be paid in icon, thats all that is needed, a couple of more big projects like this and u could make really good bank from those fees by staking. Give it another year

Not mentioned yet, it is up to the customer to decide. Regardless transaction fees are still paid and distributed to p-reps.

No. No government in the world would ever participate in a public ponzi scheme in order to manage their data. This is why they pay in krw, not shitcoins.

ICONLOOP’s loopchain is Seoul Metro’s standard blockchain platform for all current and future applications. Some of these applications such as Digital Certification use the public chain $ICX, but not all. Can’t say if this particular application will use $ICX. Not our decision.

Seems like a good sign, the more private chains the more opportunity there is to connect through ICX

why would a premined nocapped inflationary non scaleable ico craze scam ever come back? the token is literally useless and ethereum already won with +100000x better devs and +10000x more funding and +10000x more network effect.

if this scam wasnt the first korean ico to get memed into eth of korea then it would be sub 10m cap like aergo, fantom, eden, yggdrash etc

>> No.13765277

>>13765086
Not really. Iconloop has over 100 developers and a corporate headquarters with tons of connections with the Korean government and other Korean companies. If any country will adopt blockchain, it's going to be Korea. Interoperability will be huge in a few years with ICX being the literal gas that runs the whole thing.

You're literally witnessing this with the citizen ID deployment on iconloop. This is huge.

Their governance model and dpos make the most sense, and they're actually gaining real world adoption and being used in governments and businesses already.
Token isn't useless, it's required to transact on the public chain and stake. You only get hit by inflation if you're not staking.
Ethereum has shit tier devs like gavin wood lol and solidity is underdeveloped trash and there's still the question of Can It Scale?
We already know ICON can scale

As for funding, ICON is incentivizing developers to build dapps, I don't see ethereum doing that.
Ethereum got a bit of a headstart and so it's more well known but that will only take it so far.

I have bags in both, but I don't see ethereum taking away the foothold ICON already has across SK, and that foothold will only grow bigger because it's the superior tech.

>> No.13765319

>>13765288
if the network ever gets rolling there will be no inflation at all with all the staking rewards being paid out from fees.

why would you gamble on yet another smart contract plattform with hundreds of them when something like chainlink has an oracle monopoly enabling off chain smart contracts

When did that happen? What's stopping anyone from using whatever oracle they want?
I still have a small link bag too, it's dumb to go all in on one project

Me too Anon - although I have a few more than that. I remember on the way down, thinking that I could get 6 LINK per ICX - didn't do it - ouch!

>> No.13766079

I had over a million dollars in ICX and nearly lost all of it because of how shit they have done business. If you even THINK for one second that ICON is going to be dominant in ANYTHING then you're just a biased bitch who is holding on to your bags and trying to grasp any bit of news that even MIGHT pump the price.

Here's a tip: It won't. ICON is over. Get over it.

>> No.13766367

Sirgay and the icon team had a discussion about building on iconloop in the future on twitter. Chainlink does not only have to exist on eth. That's the whole concept of interoperability kek. You people are such brainlets.
