point click blockchain is coming out in like a week, which is supposed to be a major feature
zero marketing done what so ever
cross blockchain is a neat idea, but other coins have come in faster and have eaten ark's lunch
side chains for businesses are nice, but amazon is already offering blockchains for businesses
they're working on smart contracts, but they'll be eaten by ETH since it has 10000x more developers

ARK had great ideas behind it, but just too small of a development team to bring it to market quick enough to keep up with the competition

that said, i'm still holding. i've regretted selling coins in the past, so i'm not going to try and make that mistake again. the developers, despite being stuttering potheads, are good, just slow. The concept is good, i like dPOS, i like a lot of it. That, and they're funded for the next 7 years, which is nice if it actually ends up going anywhere.

Biggest hope is where they're incorporated in france that the french put everything of theirs on ARK out of that classic french pride

ARK's downfall might have been that they were too responsible of a project.
A shitcoin with 200 decent developers shilling their coin to pump up the market to afford 200 developers might develop something gold, or go bust
ARK is going to be solid, but it's coming out so slow in a market that is blazing fucking fast right now
they might have done better to channel those 7 years worth of funding and cut it down to 2 years of funding and ramped up the developing to get their product to market

do you really think there will be 7 years of development going on if this project doesn't gain any traction or adoption? they're hoarding btc and other coins, refusing to use it to market/hire more devs, yet by doing so they're making their project worthless. in 2 years if there's no adoption the coin will be worth a few pennies, and what good will all that btc be for all the people busting their asses? the only people it will enrich are the founders who will peace out with their massive btc stash

they hired one dude named justin to be the face of the marketing, and he's both trying hard and being positive, but one person in a space this big is going to do nothing. Had little turn out at their coinsensus presentation, which doesn't bode well.
It might become abandonware in the future, but for now it's funded and developing.
They've been too good natured in a market of pump-n-dumpers to try and put out any marketing or info on their coin, but it's hampering them at this stage in development
unless they plan on spending a good bit on advertising this afterwards i'm not really sure where it's going to go

ARK Interoperability: with centralized entities and no security because no smart contracts.

Decentralization: fake, a few random guys that have constantly to reload a backup of the blockchain because the network collapses

Point click blockchain: useless, why would anyone fork ARK instead of ETH or any other blockchain desu? the only ones that may need a fancy interface for that are those who can't program and bring value to the ecosystem.

Utility of the coin: 0, it is not needed for anything

What's left? The developers 2 years ago publicly stated that they had no idea what to do, how can people still hold this shit?
