Is it too late to buy in to this?

No but you're basically buying into another tether, there isn't really any point. Chainlink has been confirmed to be tied to $1.

"stablecoin" fudders are going hard right now, there has never been any mention of pricing of the token, in any official documentation

It's built right into the tech, which you'd know had you read the whitepaper. A price above $1 would defeat the purpose of the token.

The dev team releases tokens directly to enterprises, and hold 65% of the tokens. Paradoxically, as you see adoption you will probably see the token price go down. And adoption is happening.

>asks for source about coffee cup parity
It’s unique in that it can be pegged to a variety if things, like the dollar or a cup of coffee, but always to the reasonably smallest unit to provide as equivalence to the real world as possible.
You don’t buy 10 cups of coffee a day, you buy one or two, so by keeping link pegged to a cup of coffee link actually sticks closely with the pace of the real world. This real world equivalence, the coffee cup parity, has unironically been found to be a better peg for link than the dollar for obvious reasons.
This real world equivalence between the link token and a tangible universally consumed (emphasis on consumed) commodity is what makes link an actual viable oracle solution for ensuring the authenticity of data onboarded from the real world onto blockchains.
THINK about how much a cup of coffee is worth, wherever you go there is always a range of prices but that range is always invariably perfectly suited for the socioeconomics of that region, on every scale (neighborhoods, towns, cities, counties, states, countries etc)
ICO buyers and even the dip buyers are going to be staking link and making 6% of their stack’s value in cold hard linkies worth the global coffee cup average, per linkie. The returns for ico bag holders and even those who bought up to .25 are going to be 15-20x, fuck maybe even 40-50x long term! Coffee will become increasingly valuable as the developing world adopts first world lifestyles (and pay more for coffee).
Don’t forget that it’s coffee cup parity gives it an edge over the competition, I’m not seling til 3.50, and I’ll pribably just wait some more years until the value of a cup of coffee goes up.
