It's not really effective if you're poor though. If you take a mortgage out to buy an apartment and then rent it out, what are you making? A couple hundred a month? Lol what a fag. While it is a passive income, You usually need multiple housing units for this to be really worth it. Or if you own the unit outright it can be alright. But in that case you already have money and could have invested it elsewhere.
