The mistake is getting into longing and shorting. People think they are fucking smart as fuck but 95% of people get red you silly cunts. Why gamble on 50/50 betting when there are massive gains to easily be had in crypto. fucking sad and its only retards that think its cool.

i just click on the numbers tha get bigger and sell the ones that get smaller. Yu are literially day trading with no limits and only paying capital gains tax.

Remarkably false. You could trade successfully with swaps, it's not too hard. Good risk management is foremost, followed by a comprehensive technical strategy and ALWAYS considering the dynamic between small fish and whales.

Explain to a brainlet, what is the advantage of margin trading instead of just trading $10-50k at 1x so you won't get liquidated?

>> No.13736222

>>13736176
Lets say you were to have shorted (placed a sell order) for BTC at $10,000. Let's also say you only have 0.1 BTC to trade with, or $1000 worth. With 0.1 BTC at x10 leverage you can sell 1 BTC. Then for every dollar BTC goes down, your position is worth $1 more. Say BTC goes to $8000, if you close your position you then get the difference which is $2000 in profit paid to you in BTC, that's a 200% profit. You can also go 100x leverage. If you reach liquidation then you lose it all (you can't go into debt in crypto platforms) which will happen with near certainty if you're not good at trading. The most anyone should use is probably like 3x but even then if you're a complete beginner I wouldn't rec it and not even gonna shill you a link because you sound new and I don't want you to lose your money but that's what it is

Are you implying that most people have 10-50k to trade on here LOL? You're also asking me why risking a fraction of your capital for the same results is advantageous... ah hello, that's amazing risk reward. I have a good technical strategy and I've never been liquidated on any position that I wasn't willing to lose. I don't even need to explain my strategy since the results in this thread speak for themself. Btw I started off with $3k as a 19/yo who worked part time.
