No, I unironically read the bitcoin white paper in 2012, then downloaded every single wallet and block chain for every shit coin I bought until mid 2017 because muh crypto anarchy. Digibyte, siacoin, rubycoin, vtc, you name it. Made a little cash and thougt about each coins use cases. Then erc tokens became popular and I realized nobody gives a flying fuck about anything and to just leave shit on exchanges and by then I was at 100x initial from eth and omg, then bear, and now I’m finally learning to swing trade on the way back up. I think I’m the dumbass tbdesu.

A blockchain is, in simple terms, a growing list of records of transactions. Imagine it as a notebook. Every time someone makes a transaction, it's recorded as a line on the page. When the page fills up, another page is added. This notebook is copied to other notebooks, which every person (a node operator) owns a copy of. Eventually the notebooks would become to big and heavy for the people to carry around and everything collapses.

I think most people who own crypto understand what a blockchain is and even a smart contract. Anything higher than level you have to do research yourself which most people dont have the interest or patience for.
