Whats up with ARK? Does it have a future? Honest price predictions?

Got some in my wallet and I'm wondering what I should do with it, either keep it or sell it for ETH or something...

No idea, it seems solid except for marketing etc..

>> No.13710653

Good tech but the management and people in charge are absolute dogshit who I wouldn't have run a lemonade stand let alone a crypto project

>> No.13710685

Held for a while, they started as being the "bridge" from blockchain to blockchain when they realized that that's just a decentralized exchange

now they are just about deployable blockchains which is just a shittier ERC20 token

They are lacking a direction, trying to do everything

This.
When project starts to pivot around usecases its time to let it go anon...

Its jsut money printing machine for early holders and will crumble to 0 when people start leaving pyramid

Well apparently the 28th will be a big day for ARK, guess im holding in case it pumps, which is likely to happen I suppose.

I wanna believe, but i'm losing faith
I like how there are sidechains to keep the main chain light, and I like the 8 second blocktimes
I have the question of who runs the sidechains and the servers for these sidechains?
Also, point and click sounds nice, but won't most of the major businesses develop their own blockchain? or will they do the point/click one? (or will it mostly be smaller businesses that do this, who are probably illiterate when it comes to having nodes and delegates)
there are other coins that now do cross-chain tech, so they have competition there
we kind of have to hope the stuttering potheads do it better than the other ones

>> No.13711017

>>13710981
oh and they're incorporated in France, which gives them good legitimacy on that part.
They've also got many millions of dollars of funding to keep the project running for 5-6 years, so the project will continue going on during that time.
Here's hoping

>> No.13711039

Do you think it'll pump before the 28th?

>> No.13711056

>>13710981

Wait until whatever the fuck op said about the 28th and flip this shit for ETH

Look into fucking consensys and realize that ETH has 1000s of developers working on this shit and it's going to be the only useful dapp crypto

Only like 5 fucking tokens/coins are going to win this rat race and just bet on the one that actually has people behind it

fuck

ark doesnt even have working smart contracts yet right? are they even doing that anymore?

probably. most coins do. It was announced several days ago, so the pump up might have already been priced in

This coin pumps for 10 minutes before the Ark whales put their walls up. Ark has one of the few legit sell walls in crypto

Also, ETH has to get over that transaction scaling issue.
If sharing/POS is a bust, that'll really hinder it.
Having a coin that can do light transactions with a light mainchain that does simple operations with sidechains might keep things from being overly bloated. So they might have a higher chance of scaling.
Until then, i'm still holding my ETH and ARK

Got into this memecoin way back when, I think it was like 12 cents USD for 1 ARK. I was in the original /biz/ staking group. Then I got in the new one, /bizclassic/ but I didnt like the fags that ran it. So I staked for a little while and ended up selling when it was around $8. Did really well on it and had fun staking. But its a meme coin with no future.
