>Wanted to get back in the game. This time with bigger numbers to see larger gains short term. >Some nigger sells 20k BTC and crashes the market 3 days later.
>Panic sell halfway through the downturn
What do anons? I can afford to lose it all but would be pretty pissed off and probably never crypto again. Looking to get back 10% loss so I can have a clear mind set in this again. Pretty jaded at the moment.

With these pumps you're bound to make good money. Depends on when you want to take it out. You can't watch the daily charts constantly. There is absolutely no reason for it to drop now, only go up for a bit. Of course, anything could happen so at your own risk and all. Depends in what you're doing with your money? Nothing? Then you're retarded for not investing.

>> No.13704882

Ok. Yeah nothing. Was just sitting in a checking account so figured I'd get off my ass and try to make something happen with it.

I've been successful before with small amounts, but this really burned my ass, jumping in big and getting rekt three days later.

I still think withdrawing right as a massive crash was happening was a good move

>> No.13704939

>>13704882
You got in after a pump. It has to go up in a healthy manner. You probably got lucky to get in this cheap even if it goes down a little. It looks a lot scarier than it really is.

>> No.13704970

>>13704939
Definitely got in after a pump. I had minimal skin in the game, but was still watching the numbers.

Once it started to run away I figured dump a bunch in before it moons, worst case scenario I lose 20%+ and decide to back out.

Somewhat happy with my move. Like I said, I'm back in with the same or more satoshis, just down on the USD.

Thanks for inspiring confidence anon. No one else I know knows any of this shit hah

Bruh are you me? I did the exact same thing. Sitting on the sidelines scratching my dick and feeling shitty.

If BTC is really going to 50k, and ETH is going to 3k, and alt's will pop, etc, etc, our anguish won't matter.

I bought back in at lower prices, but with less $, and trying to stop being an emotional bitch, this market is full of fuckery

literally anything but that. Did you invest your whole nut at once? This is a lesson in how to enter a volatile market-- if you have 10k to throw at crypto you just fucking buy 1k no matter what the price is. Then you wait a week or two, or until there's a major price movement in either direction. if it goes up, you buy a little bit less, like 500 or 750. If it goes down, you buy a bit more, like 1500 or 2000.

This doesn't sound like someone "getting back in the game" desu.

We gon be fine. Just don't sell in a massive panic-driven dumps...that dip was fishing for stoplosses from emotional fags like us.

I think the DCA strategy is best for me now. If this shit is really going to the moon, a 10% short term loss / lesson in fomo doesn't matter and there's still plenty of opportunities ahead. If the market takes another dump, i'll buy some more and sleep better. GL

Never sell when it's dropping, never buy when it's rising.

The best advice for crypto, in my opinion:

Be greedy when others are fearful, be fearful when others are greedy.

>> No.13705177

>>13705166
Good advice, but if you catch wind of a massive drop and sell asap then buy at the bottom...

Seems good not?

>> No.13705229

>>13705177
No.
How do you know a drop is gonna be massive until after the fact?

And by the time you know the drop is massive, it's too late to sell.

>> No.13705262

>>13705177
The drops often reverse very quickly. There's a decent chance you'll be selling at the absolute bottom, which is the worst decision you can make. Unless there's a good reason it's dropping, it's probably going to bounce back.

You don't know where the bottom is, but you do know that people are just panic selling and the price is probably going to bottom out lower than the price will be in another day or two.

If you don't intend to hold long term then you should be selling while it's rising, not when it's falling.

>> No.13705287

What are some indicators that suggest a drop? I was lucky to buy low, sell high a few times. It was fucking sweet but mostly luck

>Panic sell halfway through the downturn

People are trying to teach you to trade, like >>13705166 but you seem intent on not listening. You're even aggressive about it, callinng people cunts.

How about you listen?
If you "panic bought" instead of panic sold the huge red candle, you'd be in profit right now.

Forget about the short run, we might not see $8k again for many months, we might see it again next week, no one knows (except chinance)
Get in this shit for the long run, in the next few years we could hit $50-100k, or at least back to ATHs
Don't diddle around here getting 10% losses here and there when the price has the potential to 10X from here if you just hold
I recommend waiting until August to buy in proper, but DCA until then
