So I won big on some bets when Brexit happened a few weeks back ~ $25,000 tax free. Any ideas on what I should do with it? My long term view is that we're going to face another great depression so stock market is going to see something like a negative 60-80% correction like the 1930s. Gold and silver will likely get confiscated or taxed 90% on capital gains by the government so doesn't make sense to invest in that. Same could be said for crypto. Real estate is in a huge bubble right now so doesn't make sense to buy in now. So basically I'm just left to choose between cash or bonds.

Any others ideas /biz/?

Bonds are safe, but aren't really gaining anything after inflation. Good way to bank shit for later if you think the market will improve.

I'm going to screencap this and print out a photographic portrait so that I can sell it in the future after the Great depression 2.0 on spaceBay and laugh
