all right folks, need ya advice..
I've finally got paid for my side job (around 1,5k$) - ive been waiting for that cash when btc was around 5,5k and my move was: usd - btc - NIMiq yet payment was delayed.

Question is, if btc will dive a bit to let's say 7,1k$?
NIMIQ is quite low due to alt-market bleeding (i own >2,5mln nimiq) its 18 sats now and during last run it tested 40 sats.

I'm struggling a bit cos, for that 1,5k$ i can buy brand new 5x GTX 1660ti with 2 year warranty (their GDR6 memory type crashes NIMIQ algo argon2d: on 2060 i get almost 370kh/s and for 1080ti its only 470, so i assume those 1660ti will give aprox 300kh/s). I run my GPU's on free electricity and i will continue doing that for the next year or so. I'm really dedicated to NIM coin, no shilling but im keeping up with it at least till EOY. dyor

I wonder if waiting for BTC dip to lets say 7k and swapping them to NIM at <20 sats level and exiting at around 25-30 sats is wise move? i actually can get those cards from warehouse in next week or so. if i lay it correctly i can get from ~0.17 btc to ~0.25 btc? so i get two cards for free? the risk nimiq is tanking below 15 sats is around 10%? BTC isnt going lower than 6k i guess?

Are the 1660ti good for mining? Sounds good desu, mind the buying / sell fees tho

as i said im dedicated to the NIMIQ project.
2060 thanks to GDR6 gives outstanding performance (around 1$ on argon2d/nimiq and 0,5$ on eth as of today) yet as ive mentioned i run on free electricity. ive choosen rtx cards cos i got 3y warranty on them and i hope they will be easier to resell once i cash out a year or two from now (noone will assume they've been used for mining lol)

1660ti has GDR6 too, so they will be quite good for NIMIQ (2060 draws 130W, so i guess 1660ti will draw around 100W?)

it still made run from 15 sats to 45-50 sats in a sideway-bear market?
they have active road map and r delivering stuff so the risk is pretty low.

Mining is the worstestest meme i had fallen for.
I did good in trading, rank $5k to $50k, cash out and went into mining gear heavily in jan 2018 (20x 1070ti, 24x vega64, 6x vega56) + psus + all crap. The time it took to set it up and how profits had fallen and elec went up was insane. I lost way more that i would have just buying btc at 20k and hodling (think these guys are only ~50% down 20k -> 8k). I tried selling not even miners were buying, i listed some 1070tis for $330 and nobody interested. Now im stuck mining shitcoins because all stable coins are diff as fuck and not profitable anymore.
I don't see how mining can be profitable for anyone at this stage unless free/solar power.

as i said:
-i got 10x2060 for free. lets say ive found a goverment non-refundable subside for angel business.
-i have access to free electricity (lets say up to 1,5kW)
Ive been in a right place at the right time. Im accumulating almost 200k of nimiq per month. if nimiq goes to 0 i still got brand new hardware without "mining" issue. nimiq goes from 0,03 - 0,08$ (it did 0,03 last year)? i'm out
i kind of dont have time for trading (im planning to start doing it once i settle up my new job)
those GPU's run all the time and give me around 300$/month and in case of x10 on nimiq, its 3k$..

anyway u can try nimiq, i really fell good vibes with it but my opinion may be subjective..
