Mintcoin came way down after a huge jump yesterday and now it's barely moved in about 15 hours. Is it done? Just a temporary lull in the action?

I really don't understand this fascination with doge, it's time has come and gone already too.

Do you think it's still going to be going up though? I feel like it's going to just dick around where it's at right now for a month or so and then fade away.

>> No.136523

it's the most well known PoS coin on the market right now, and even so, tons of people in these threads even have no idea what PoS is. one the concept becomes more well known and investors begin gaining interest, it's going to explode

>> No.136568

A rise from 20 satoshi to 63 in under a day was never gonna keep going. People just offloaded some coins, it was fluctuating a lot last night around 40-50 and now its evened out.

It will probably drop a little more before we see another rally, just one wall keeping it at 40 right now.

What exactly are you all looking at when you say there's a "wall"? I'm trying to figure out these predictions, because they've been fairly accurate from what I've seen.

There are 17 bitcoins on buy orders at 40 satoshi on Mintpal.

That means in order to lower the price either they need to cancel their buy orders to people need to sell 17 BTC of MINT to fill the orders.

pls die mint

>> No.136700

>>136635

Ok that's what I thought. Then by that same token it's safe to say that getting past 45 will take some serious work too.

Yes, people may remove buy/sell orders during a crash/rally respectively, but you get the general idea.

>> No.136712

That's because mintcoin fucked up with a 20 day holding needed for stake

Blackcoin saw this and moved in for the kill, only needing 8 hours for a stake.

For a pure PoS coin to work you are going to have to convince people to always leave their wallet on. 20 days is way to long, 8 hours is perfect.

>> No.136769

>>136712

I wouldn't mind the 20 day holding if you didn't have to have them stationary in your wallet. The second you move them around the counter starts over, which really defeats the whole purpose of a currency.
