You fucking idiots.

He and his owners at Bitfinex are liquidating their USDT reserves, why do you think Bitcoin has been pumping?

They're flipping all that USDT in BTC/ETH.

it was a coordinated hack.. you would be stupid to think otherwise. Binance single handedly pumping up BTC with unloading Tether

So they own both sides and are wash trading? Or is there a BTC whale taking one for the team by giving up his stack to Binance for worthless USDT?

The exact mechanism is difficult to spot and prove, but I suspect so, yes.

With a few hundred million in BTC, which they certainly have, you can easily foment buying and selling pressure.

Its not a whale, its thousands of gullible investors who are trying to swing trade this pump. Its brilliant really. They use their vast tether reserves to buy BTC at an alarming rate, the price of BTC skyrockets, people see this strange inorganic pump and try to get out while its up hoping for a retrace. These people buy tether to avoid the dump, which enables more tether to be sold for BTC, further inflating the price. Its a feedback loop that raises the price of BTC until tether collapses, leaving all those swing traders stranded with useless internet monopoly money. The value of which has been transferred to BTC which CZ now owns. This will more than make up for the $41 million that was stolen, and if CZ plays his cards right he will be completely out of tether before its inevitable demise and Binance will have more money than it did before the hack. Theres no doubt in my mind Binance will re-open withdrawals. Because when they do, BNB is going to the fucking moon, which will make them even more money. The question is, how long will they get away with this stunt after the fact?

Good analysis anon. It's clearly a market cornered by some big players.

Have a Brapper.

I keep hearing this and it makes ZERO sense. why would you artificially inflate the price of bitcoin so that when liquidating your tether YOU GET LESS BITCOIN THAN IF IT WAS CHEAP????
there's no way they're pumping it to fuck themselves on an artificial premium.
fucking ZERO logic behind this theory, sorry
