I fucking did it /biz/

I finally sold my entire fucking Req stack. This project was just another bull run pipe dreams and is going literally nowhere. Team is a bunch of hipster faggots in their 20s who get to smoke cigarettes and swipe on Tinder all day with our money. Fuck my fucking life, this was the worst financial decision I have ever made.

Go and look at the absolute fucking state of their leddit, discord or anything. Total fucking utter and absolute complete fucking piss take lads.

RIP my bag of SHIT 2017 - 2019

Laziest team in all of crypto.

>> No.13574851

Welp fellas, I gotta say something: I finally sold what I had left of REQ. I'm not a REQmarine anymore.
I'm from Venezuela, shit's hard here and I was literally out of food. I had to decide either keep holding this scam or buy food to survive. I chose the later.

>> No.13574870

I feel you OP. I've been holding this since ICO. I'll hold it to 0 since it doesn't matter anymore at this point

>> No.13574878

I bought at 10c held to over a dollar, and sold at 6c. Dumbest mistake I've made in crypto

They actually looked pretty legit during the bullrun.

Then Wikipedia dropped them.
Then ING dropped them.

Pretty sure PwC France has dropped them on the down low.

>> No.13574900

Yes even selling this at absolute ATL is still a good move because you can just put it into something also low cap like Matic or NKN which is at least likely to pump one day

There is literally ZERO reason for anyone to be holding a single REQ coin anymore, that's the truth

>> No.13574954

What I'm wondering: How come they don't just spend a shitload of money on some ACTUAL devs and not just community projects that build on REQ?

There is no way you could have THAT MUCH MONEY and achieve nothing with it unless you're 100% retarded or actually scamming. Do they just want to keep it for themselves?

>>13574896
>They actually looked pretty legit during the bullrun.
They absolutely did. It's been a downward spiral ever since then though. They have not delivered anything.

Insiders info is they found out EY is doing same crypto acounting shit on public eth ledger for free, no usless token (tokenburn tokenomics lel) pouring huge manpower and milions in development.

They got scared because its over, pivoted around ideas waht the fuck they should be now for 1 year and finally soft exit scamming.

RIP BAGHOLDERS

Ill miss "ahead of roadmap 2017 memes"

they don't exit scamming, they're working extremely hard

"We know internally that our public communication simply isn’t good enough. Internally we do some great stuff and we really need to make a conscious effort to portray those successes to the community. I am personally going to put aside more time to interact with the community and I will discuss with the team about how we can be more transparent about what we are doing with our time to keep you more informed. I understand it’s frustrating but we are working extremely hard."

and then the graphs started to differentiate. they're still in the same category, projects with unreleased potential, far from a usable product and widespread adoption. the only real difference is that link is memed and shilled to death while req is not.

I invested in 2 crypto's outside of BTC/ETH & I did SIGNIFICANT research on about 50 different projects. Those wound up being REQ & LINK. Neither had an amazing team so that was their biggest weak point, but the use cases made more sense to me than anything else at the time by an order of magnitude. I actually rode REQ from 11 cents to a dollar and back down all the way to 2.5 cents. I sold and took a total hit of $45-50k and moved what was left of it into LINK. Never made a better move. Team wound up being completely inept.

I have done business development among a host of other roles at both large companies and startups which went on to be worth tens of millions of dollars. I started getting nervous about REQ when I decided to apply for a BD job they had posted (didn't want it - salary too low, but wanted to hear about the project more from the team) and never even heard back. That was a big red flag for me when I have recruiters from the largest companies in the world hounding me down & offering me $250k+ salaries & this time was so inept they couldn't even be bothered to review my application (or ultimately decided to reject it for whatever idiotic reason). A month or so later as they continued to flounder I made the call. I can't believe I even waited that extra month.

Anyway, all this to tell you - don't be too hard on yourself. It was a good bet on paper, but we're playing in a highly speculative space and most projects will die.
