i lost all my BTC (300) to a hard drive failure in 2011 july 26th.
can a rollback get me my coins back somehow?
or it's only good for stolen coins? (i'm not a techie)

i actually tried recovering it and put it in the freezer / tried dropping it etc everything i read on the internet. i sent it to the data recovery company later and they said they can't do shit now

So first you tried every retard method found on the internet and only then you thought it might be a good idea to send it to skilled professionals?

>> No.13560666

in the future yes you will be able to write a smart contract that awards the miners a percentage of the recovered coins if they choose to roll back the chain. note this only works on BTC because of segwit removing the chain of digital signatures. that's why the binance hacker sent all the coins to segwit addresses (bc1)

Ancaps will look retarded during capitalism final crisis.

There is no such thing as a better capitalism.

the only transaction you could rollback is the one where you got the coins, but since you haven't spent them...

you can't roll back losing your keys, that transaction is not on the blockchain

is rollback the new meme buzzword?
Ethereum did it and now everyone wants to do it?

Anarcho-Capitalism is the only real anarchism, and anarchism is shit in either case. There is no good replacement for capitalism, whether you get rid of the dollar and start calling it "labor credits" or whatever that mincing pedant retard Paul Cockshott suggests, it will still be beholden to the same economic forces currency is.

You ignorant, cock sucking faggot

I guarantee I can recover it, I've never come across a hard drive whose data couldn't be recovered except once, but that was a completely different scenario. two separate OS reinstalls, so the data was actually written over. if the data hasn't been written over, it's still there. ... but this is a larp anyway, either that or you're dumb as fuck
