I've read the same thing quite a few times when Bitcoin was around $200 in 2015. Could the world handle all the millionaires from the $20,000 run?

>> No.13548809

At $1,000,000 BTC the world evens out again. Bitcoin is essentially a blow off valve. We are in clown world gentlemen.

You know how little amount of money is in bitcoin you retard
That’s like asking if we can handle millionaires popping up from YouTube

The day Bitcoin is worth 1 million $ you won't measure it in $ anymore.

Bitcoin was practically unknown back then, the market is completely different now.

>practically unknown
fucking kek, it's been in the news since 2012
regardless, how does that have any relevance to OP's question? are you implying that BTC will never do another 100x?

>> No.13549028

"new millionaires"

you idiot, wealth isn't generated or lost by bitcoin, it just moves hands.

people who know about it still don't invest
only a handful of people I know invested in bitcoin and everyone except 1 kept it below $1000
I've never met anyone who knew how it functions or why it's valuable

I even offered my buddy $100 worth of bitcoin for the $70 I owed him and he chose the fiat, and this was about a month ago

people are starting to wake up
a lot of conservatives are being banned from facebook twitter paypal mastercard etc. and turning towards bitcoin
a lot of people around the world are finding bitcoin to be more stable than their hyper inflated currencies
it's moving along slowly but we're still 5+ years away from serious adoption imo

I've been around since 2012 and learned not to buy the hype or sell the fud just enjoy it as it's developed and slowly grows

if 8 million people have more than 1 BTC.
That's 0,1% of the population

lol

>> No.13549111

when you say 1 million that means less and less everyday
in 20 years 1 million will probably be an average yearly salary

1mil per btc will happen BUT
- will take decades
- till then you're dead
- shit can't grow that fast
- you'll likely live to see when it hits a 100k

>can the world fit the millions of new millionaires?
It won't reach that height by creating new millionaires out of thin air. Assuming we don't nuke ourselves out of having computers and internet in the future, BTC will continue to cannabilize existing inefficiences in the global economy and revalue itself accordingly. At some point I believe PM's will do that same and bubble in value enormously in order to compensate for massive amounts of debt and lost purchasing power in fiat. The future version of today's fiat currencies will be stablecoins that are programmatically backed by a basket of goods including metals, btc, government backed stablecoins, commodities like oil, etc.
