There used to be a lot of legit places to spend crypto, over time they all closed down or stopped accepting. Usually a big wave of people saying theyll support the site or theyll spend, then it gets implemented like on steam, and then eventually removed or the marketplace closes down. Way more money to be made in mining, or running an exchange, or staking than to operate a marketplace or accept crypto.

Started out as a premine scam (was advertised as a cpu mined coin... the founder knew how to gpu mine it though and had gpu farms ready on launch)
stayed relevant by rebranding to become the bitcoin-core test network (IE ran segwit and LN before it launched on btc)
Made the founder (chief copy paster) tons of USD when he sold all his holdings while wearing a HODL shirt.

Basically it has been a dark parody of crypto its entire life cycle.
