Anyone holding Stellar Lumens? Not for any short-term expectation of a moon but for long term?

smartlands will multiply your lumens

>> No.13539212

no because every time you buy the coin you are injecting it with value that will eventually be diluted among niggers

One of the only crypto's with actual high level partnerships that amount to more than just namedropping companies to hype the price. Also one of the few with actual working products out and being used right now. What do you think anon?

kek no one want's a pure currency coin, the sooner you realise this the better. Why would anyone cuck themselves by using Nano when plenty of other coins serve the same purpose and more. Stellar for example, confirms in 5 seconds and is pretty much feeless right now, plus everything the network offers. The whole do one thing and do it well is retarded especially when no one even wants instant and feeless transactions without a full ecosystem to support it. Which Nano is so far behind on.

Stellar was a good project. Made its waves in its fields but moving forward, from an investment standpoint its terrible investment. At least at the moment, for the mid term future

kek, you named advantages of nano like fees and speed.
xlm will give several millions of lumens for free, how many millions of xlm do you have?

why can't you use 2 different coins? nano is fast, can deposit/withdraw fast from everywhere. nano is basically the everyday currency.

I bought a small 15k stack based just on someone saying that the creator was the creator of ripple, and had created stellar to preserve his vision. I know literally nothing else.
I used to make some horrible purchases, haha.
I'm a holder, so I'm not selling until my portfolio reaches my target.

>unlimited supply
It's capped at 100b with 1% inflation
>neverending giveaways
They have to distribute the supply somehow and they are taking their time doing it.
>devs officially dont give single fuck about marketing
They don't hype shit without it being ready, they are stepping up the marketing now WW is out
>Jed is the kind of guy with great ideas but zero monetization and business skills
Done pretty well so far if you ask me. Plus he's stepping down as CEO to work on the programming side of things.
>Stellar is technologically obsolete. They waited too long. Now there is a lot more lot better coins like 3rd gen blockchain and DAG
The SCP is solid and is only getting better with time. There may be new wave shitcoins that have better tech but as we know that superior tech doesn't mean shit.
This all reads like a salty bagholder who bought the top and is now angry at everything the SDF does (giveaways, not needlessly hyping, Jed?) because they aren't pumping your bags. If only you had the patience to see this come to fruition.

Tunnel vision at it's finest. If you could comprehend my post you would see that I mentioned speed and fees as the ONLY advantage of Nano. Quick transfer of value is not the be all end all of crypto and many coins are fast enough for that AND do more. Nano doesn't have more.

you have valid points of someone who likes and believes in Stellar. There was a time when I also believed. The dev team makes an amateurish impression to me (desu) and the communication (web, conference, twitter.. reddit) is cringy. But what signed the decision to sell and forget for me was the constant giveaway. It undervalues your investment, the money you actually buy the thing with when its free. I mean yes, if Stellar was the a innovative technology it would justify the team to be "hush hush" about developement (like IOTA) during the extreme bear market. But the fact that they just dont give shit is... sad.

No of course not but why would anyone limit themselves to a pure currency coin when literally every Crypto in existence is at it's base function, a currency coin. It may find it's niche in micropayments and online merchants but it will never be widely adopted imo.

I think the opposite about the dev team desu. They are well funded and have been around for a while now so they have managed to acquire some top talent which is scarce in the blockchain space. The SCP is underrated imo and has a lot of functionality for not having proper smart contracts and it's often just painted as a ripple fork. The communication is lacking I think don't know what you mean by cringy. As for the giveaways it's an ongoing debate what to do with the undistributed supply. So far not much has been given away and if they are planning for the long term not rushing it out and holding it is the best play right now. So it comes down to trusting them to do good with the supply which is my only worry.

I have I used to use XRB to play crash right before the crazy run up. I made a decent bit on the pump but pretty sure at one point I had like 6000XRB from playing crash lol could have actually made it.

lol what the fuck

it literally says cryptoCURRENCY

you want to purchase things with it. who cares about all this other shit? just autists

there are only 3 coins in the top 100 right now which have an actual purpose: bitcoin as store of value, xmr for privacy and nano for transactions

>> No.13540068

>>13539986
That's the thing you don't seem to understand, it is no longer all about pure currency. There are many other functions that can be served by blockchain and it's clearly not 'just autists' that care about it. And when every blockchain at it's base is a transfer of value why would you choose one that is only that. If it was actually adopted sure it would work but that's the thing no one is using it.

So basicly you should educate yourself and pay attention what autists say (and not get scamed by 90% of them along the way buying shitcoin bags)
