Guys, this board has been terrible since the Bitcoin boom and all threads have been about crypto and small eccentric people who meme their ways to the top. I can't take this place seriously if you can't take yourselves seriously.

This isn't about making it big or about catching some crazy one-in-a-million break. It's finance, it's fucking business. Unless you want to have less than 0.01% chance in making it big from nothing, this isn't going to work. So let's actually get to work on discussion. I'm purposing a new general, one that isn't so aimless and full of pathetic wishful thinking.

Lets start building resources and direction for newcomers as well.

Let me start
I have an idea for real estate development and I think it could be a lot of money, but I have no money to buy property. I have the skills required to build these structures but not a lot of capital, should I work on a side hustle and shelf this project for now, or find an investor to whore myself out to?

Never gonna make it. How does it feel to waste your time waiting for a magical coin to make your life bearable? Can you feel the regrets mounting? The past receding into the horizon while your boundless and misdirected motivation sits, spinning in circles?

I agree. Crypto is a serious thing and a huge risk to take. Especially when investing into startup crypto projects, I remember around 2017 when there were so much scams going on and that just made the investors shy away from the opportunity. One thing I recently learned is to check if they already had sales in the private round, that shows the potential that they may have. I saw that from Ecomi which is using a collectible using AR. They also have a Vitalik on their team, which is one of the guys who made Ninja turtles and Pokemon happen

About to start some real estate investing on the side. Just trying to decide between a college town or more rural single family area. It should cash flow pretty well and generate 25% cash on cash.

Anyone else on /biz/ in real estate?

How do I scale my Shopify store? I get most of my sales from Instagram and I don’t see a way to scale Instagram influencer shoutouts

I've been wanting to start a software business, but I probably need to actually make some programs first.
Either way, glad to have some new content here, and I hope it stays.
