As linklet node operators, what are your plans for obtaining premium and niche data sources?

Was redpilled hard by statueanon and have since been looking into node operation, but so far the idea of some neets negotiating for a special deal with a company like https://flightaware.com/commercial/flightxml/ is fucking laughable, they'd just flat out ignore your emails unless you're a whale with multiple nodes

Can linklet node operators form a group and negotiate with these cunts under the name of group? There's so much talk about 'decentralization' but so far it all feels like superficial bullshit - this isn't friendly to small-time operators AT ALL.

I can't believe some of these faggots want to run nodes. It pretty much seems like we will be rich as fuck. if I have 40 million dollars why would I want to run a fucking node? The only way I would be tempted to actually run one is dropping a few million to do a brain transplant from an autistic NEET into a hot blonde escort that would live at my place and run the node on my computer as I jerk off and nut on her 5 times a day while she's rubbing it. Otherwise I'd want nothing to do with running some faggot node

So if I operate a node I need to get sources of data that will be called upon all the time? This sounds quite static? Is there like a more dynamic solution where someone needs data and I get it without relying on predefined access to that Data?

Anybody who has considered this seriously has realized how and why CLC is so important, but the retarded hivemind has decided to call it a scam for retarded reasons and without having thought things through. It's really just low IQ pavlov answers at this point parroting the timo shit, which started as an ironic joke but is now getting unironically regurgitated, with no desire to actually discuss the serious matter at hand and the solution proposed. Let's just be petty and intellectually lazy and destroy our own cause. I don't think even 5% of us have actually even read their recent articles. Nevermind then. I won't try to argue. Let CLC fail, and hope that things will magically work themselves out. I can't believe we were collectively smart enough to understand link but too stupid to understand the critical API issue.

This shit from statueanon makes sense in some way but I interpret it in a different manner: it’s precisely because the API is shut tight that we will see big companies running nodes first. This is how we make it. His shill of clc and calling linkpool’s node a “hobby node” Gave him away. Fucking lol if this retard thinks he’s doing more than linkpool.

I won't be running a node because I'm a brainlet so should I buy more link or buy more linkpool or buy some clc shares?

>> No.13520965

Running a node seems like a huge hassle unless you really know how to do it. I'd rather "lend" my linkies to some other guy's node aka pool and let him take like 20% the cut. Of course this has to be somehow secured via smartcontracts and legally so that he can't just run off with all my LINK. Like at least 50% can be withdrawed securely. I can't really explain how it would work since I don't exactly know how it will work.

It depends on how you approach it. The friendlier and more personal you are, the less likely they are to ignore your cold message. Remember: you're essentially asking to negotiate, so they're looking to say 'no.' Slightly harder to do when they can see your face.

>>13520892
If you really think you can't run one, try and get into Linkpool when they open up to staking again. There's a 350 million pool that might well be devoted to incentivizing the early network, however -- shame to miss out. And, even if that's not what they're using the 'dark' 350 for, there's still money to be made from staking.

As for Linkpool v.s. CLC, DYOR. And not just into the companies themselves, but also into the new valuation research coming out: https://jbba.scholasticahq.com/article/7776-the-application-of-behavioural-heuristics-to-initial-coin-offerings-valuation-and-investment..

I might be getting a LP stake, but I hate missing the early multiple. Hopeful for CLC. Maybe the best move is to wait for mainnet before making any new moves, however.

>>13520965
Linkpool sounds like that exact scenario you're looking for.
