Why aren't you tards starting your own business as a mover?

Today i made more money than any of you cucks will ever make day trading cryptocurrency. Want to know something amazing though? I can hold it in my fucking hand, thats right i can count my dollars right in front of my face. I'm not playing around with pretend coins that don't have any impact on this world.

I started work at 5:00 AM today. I was able to move 3 boxes each giving me ~$3 per. I moved 3 pianos each giving me ~6$ each for 30 minutes of work. I find boxes that exist in every single customers house that i enter into. Even if its an old fucking boomer in their 70s who ruined our economy i dont care I love to move boxes.

You really need this box replaced!! It's looking really old and the bottom could fall out at any moment!!

Even though its completely fine i'll just bill them for a $9 box that was in perfect working condition.

The only way to get ahead in life is to fucking push your way around. So that's right today i made $12.59 US dollars. Meanwhile you fucking cucks are investing in digital garbage like "Bitbeans, Cuckbeans, Linkies, and GOGOS" Spamming your fucking cuck memes and losing money with your pink wojaks..

Why don't you use your brain for a minute and realise that the latest SEC securities news is going to crash all of your crypto world around you in the next few months. Bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme that only profits for the original founders. You will never make as much money as me in the trades because you're too busy failing realizing the only way to get ahead in life is through hard work and ripping people off.

Enjoy staying poor idiots

Imagine overcharging for a box instead of flat rating appropriately to more than cover your costs.

It's true though. On a good day I walk with a few hundred. Not worth it in the long run as it's not physically sustainable but short term the money keeps me debt free and in a nice comfy savings.

Also I'm ripped.

way ahead of you anon.... piano move here

$150 to move upright piano ground floor to ground floor. + more for stairs and distance

$250 to move grand piano. + more for stairs and distance.

I pick up side furniture moves all the time. Move whole houses for 5k-10k depending on the shit they have.

moving pianos is fucking EASY. wham, bam, done.
moving armoires, stone and glass tables, hundreds of boxes, trampolines, exercise equipment, california king size beds, knick-knacks, curios, etc..... THAT'S back breaking work.

>multiple trips
>playing truck tetris
>once again +more cash for stairs and distance
>hours and hours of work
>constantly running in and out the house, up and down the lift gate.

it gets exhausting.

stereotypically, people who own pianos have money. if you can afford a steinway model D with a player system in your home, you probably have a million dollar home. and when the rich need to move, they gotta pay. they have expensive shit and they don't want to hire niggas off craigslist to move it. they see how well me and my boys handle a piano, so we mention we move other stuff as well. 7/10 call for us to move their house. the other 3/10 already have movers set up.

once again, $250 is MINIMUM for ground floor to ground floor, local move. Going to the next city over? +50 bucks. going 200 miles away? +200 bucks. going up a flight of stairs? +300 bucks.

10k will get you a couple bedrooms or a 20' shipping container or 1000 cubes. Two thousand is more like 13-15k depending on how much crating is necessary. The customer has no choice on international they have to pay for crating pictures, glass, etc or the shipping Jews start kvetching.

So on bulky items we have a minimum $100 charge for local moves. Grand piano or large gun safe is $250. That doesn't including packaging costs or "crating" for the piano. I never ask what's in the customer's safe.

i don't get moves very consistently, but on average 1 a month. Some are small family homes (2-5k jobs), some are mansions (5-10k jobs). furniture moving is a side gig for me. i move pianos for a piano company (basically part time). i can say I consistently move misc items (a desk, stack of pictures, or maybe a recliner) while moving pianos for tips.

26' box truck and three guys for all local moves sometimes 4. If it's just delivery we can get by with two in total.

Though, it's been slower this year because the housing market is too high and no one is able to sell.

yes, we may have to make 2 trips, but that adds to our payment! and since we use the company truck, we don't pay for it! that's really the only reason why we use a 15ft truck (it's all we got LOL)

we have had to rent a 26' uhaul before. after factoring in time loss and all that shit, it's sometimes better for us to rent. especially on the big moves.

You don't even have to do that. Just do the pickup and make them sign agreeing to pay by weight. Do the quote up front based off cubic feet then weigh the truck. Once you have their shit you can call in any number of drivers depending on your location to pick it up and do the delivery. You just need a little shop to store it in that's it.

So you take the cash up front before pickup? You are screwing yourself out of tons of money but at least you are avoiding a ton of headaches from crying customers.

On long distance take 70% up front based off the quote you work out based off cubic feet converted to weight surcharge plus fuel and plus packing and plus the cost for unloading and reloading at the shop.
