Please give me usecases. Tell me how big the market is. How often people would use it. How much they'd be willing to pay for the service. And what effect it would have on the marketcap.

The market doesnt exist yet, thats why its only $0.47. How much people are willing to pay is kind of irrelevant, you can have tiny fractions of LINK as payment. It all depends on how big decentralized oracles, and smart contracts get. If they become even half as important as I think they will be, LINK will 10x your investment.

No usecases, non existent market, never used. People will pay nothing for it, obviously. The market cap can only diminish.

I will answer your question so a brainlet can understand.
>Please give me usecases.
Chainlink makes you money by monetizing data onto smartcontracts. You act as an oracle with data you buy from API's that you then monetize to someone who wants to use it in a smart contract. It can range from Finacial data, insurance, weather or sport API. The list goes on.
>How often people would use it.
anytime a smart contract creator/developer needs data that exists off-chain
> How much they'd be willing to pay for the service.
probably 2-5 cents per request although its unknown at this point because the free market has not had the opportunity to sort it out.
>And what effect it would have on the marketcap.
retarded question

At least you're trying to explain it. But if these are such stupid questions, then there are better answers than "you is a retarded".

I don't know if tracking weather or sports scores or flight schedules haven't been solved. I believe prediction markets like augur and gnosis have provided a proof of concept. Truthfully, it's not all that compelling.

This anon I'll tell you this seriously. I've spoken with the team but I'm not an insider and I asked them the same questions and they told me their software is modular and can be upgraded at will and a whole bunch of other stuff but at no point did they tell me one concrete use case. I pressed the issue and they gave me a weird look and told me to check the pivotal and walked away in a huff.
