Can neets be really enlightened? I live an ascetic lifestyle studying most of the day. I think it would be a waste to work all day. I don't even really need money. Anyone else feel this way? To keep this /biz/ related is this naive thoughts financially.

Unless you have >$1 million net worth, or unless you have rich parents who will pay for you forever, “I don’t want to work” is not a realistic option.

You can get away with not working for a while but unless you’re set up for perma-NEET it’s just going to make life harder when you’re inevitably forced to get a job.

Correct. I was a neet until my early twenties, and I was smart enough to see the writing on the wall and that if I didn't get a job I would eventually become homeless. How people do it until their 30's is beyond me.

Find an income. you're not morally superior for not having an income, you are just delaying your responsibilities.

It only gets harder the longer you go without working. Reality will catch up with you.
