Gonna spill the beans since I'm too much of a procrastinator to ever build it. So, I'm taking a shit and this popped into my mind, maybe there's potential or I'm a brainlet as usual.
Running notifications-centric apps on a remote server.
Why? Because they drain your battery like your mother drains nigger cocks.
>b-but notifications are already served remotely
Yeah but even if there are some efficient standards (example: gcm n shiet) they're not used as such, sometimes they're implemented by jeets, sometimes they're not used because not compatible with the purpose of the app so in the end your battery gets fucked either way.
Why the need for chainlink? Well, given the fact that your personal apps are running on a server in fucking Burundi you need a way to pass your sensitive data in a trustless way (sgx), also we're talking about fucking notifications so 90/100 times they fetch external data so muh oracls
>you still need to keep listening 24/7 to the server, your battery is still kill
Yes, you still need a listener but your battery will suck your dick to thank you since it has to deal with a single efficient (non pajeet implemented) service. Or you can get your notifications even via email and fuck off already.
Now you can run mofokin bitcoin checker with an update interval of 0.5 second and go sell your alts like a bitch as soon as btc shits the bed.

Ask yourself this, what's more likely, battery tech improving to the point where this doesn't matter, or everyone feeding their notifications through the fucking Chainlink network.

Since gcm is a thing and literally nobody is aware of its existence even if everybody use it, I don't see why not chainlink. It has a similar 'under the hood' role, so normies will idolize 'super notification center 2020 ad-free' like they ingest onions, but link will do the trick.
Also battery tech breakthrough in the near future? Not gonna happen. It's the holy grail that no one manage to find.

A centralized notification gateway is enough for this use case
No need for Cl
Dont et me wrong, $1000 eoy but cl is useful in situations where youhave trust issues.
