First step not telling anyone you won and talking to an estate lawyer from the nearest neighboring big city before claiming the ticket. Don't call a lawyer in your city. Go to the closest neighboring city that doesn't know you, or anyone that you know. Whatever fantasies you have about what you'd do with the money likely have disastrous consequences concealed, and it will help to have someone experienced in handling money advise you.

Fuck a money manager unless you're a retard. You're just trying to protect the majority of your wealth. Lock up at least half of it into U.S. treasuries and Index funds to provide for monthly living before you tell anyone you won. That way you can't blow it, but you can't invest in their worm farm, or pay for their daughter's braces either.

Take the estate lawyer's advice on how to set up a trust to provide for your friends and family if you want to be charitable. When people ask you for money, direct them to the charitable trust you set up, and have it out of your hands. Let the trustee deal with it.

You can blow the rest if you want on gold plating your balls or investing in shitcoins and not worry about going broke, and if you're lucky, not get sued or killed by your friends and family.
