It seems like very little but honestly it's a good idea. The people that make and maintain the websites or channels we like need and deserve a little support. It might only be fifty sense or a dollar to us but it could be a gorillion to someone doing something good. I wish 4chan was verified for example

Kiwifarms is verified and getting referrals, hopefully the rest of the web's dank underbelly follows.

Cents, god dammit, anyway!

>>13435695
Yeah, I want to see 8ddit and 4chan and all these other sites that are vulnerable to being shut out of traditional payment gateways verified. I guess the real test will be whether or not Brave acts in a similar manner to paypal et al when it comes to content restrictions. I really hope it doesn't but I'm not getting my hopes up, either. They're trying to "go legit" with crypto which unfortunately means that they might end up making compromises that reject some of crypto's founding ideas

Brain Eich has said in the past as the number of users increases the price would stabilize. I wonder if this is coming into effect. Brave must be at 10+ million mau.

>> No.13436859

>>13436779
According to batgrowth.com there's only 100,000 BAT addresses. I take it that's apart from browser-based wallets managed by uphold though. Nonetheless there's still only 10 million brave users or so which is a small fraction of its potential, especially preceding a hardware integration that doesn't involve fourth stringer HTC

>> No.13436913

>>13436605
Yea. if AJ got on board this thing would explode. Wouldn't be long before JRE started talking about it on his show and that's all it would take to send the normies hordes fomoing this piece into oblivion. We would all be millionaires by EOY.

Bitcorn and Tether need to die. BTC was a great proof of concept, and now it's a bunch of whales and miners profitting off of maintaining a ledger for the sake of maintaining a ledger, BAT meanwhile gets it's value from the attention of it's users on an equal opportunity basis.

Ya its clawing its way back up there. This might actually be a blessing in disguise if you think about it. Either way I've had a BAT bag for 1.5 years so this is definitely not a sell event for me personally. Especially not since v1 just hit. I figure they'll let it run for a week or two until an actual marketing push happens from Brave software. We'll see I guess.
