The only value Bitcoin has derives from it's decentraliAtion, immutability, censorship resistance, trustlesness and scarcity....no one in their right mind wants to use this shit as currency. Give me 1 fucking reason why you would pay for your coffee in Bitcoin?
Bitcoin is a speculative asset that derives it's value from the attributes written above. You have to be seriously retarded to think merchant adoption does anything for the value of bitcoin...no merchant in their right mind would keep his money in crypto if you pay with crypto (except if it's drugs or other grey area activity) because hes not a speculator and cant afford to risk fucking around his profit margin...so everytime you spend crypto you are basically selling on the open market ...guess what that does to the price
