Because their scaling solutions are extremely complicated and difficult/impossible to implement. I'm a software engineer and I've been through that before. It's not a good feeling when you have a giant community of people waiting for you to implement upgrades and features that you know are probably never going to come.

good tech takes time. They are the only ones who can pull it off. Chink scams and other shitcoins like BNB who claim to be 'highly scalable'. 'fast transactions' are fucking highly centralized. Scalability with decentralization is a difficult one. but ETH will solve it and reach $10k. be patient
