Back in the day I used to shill my friends on Bitcoin by telling them about "blockchain technology" because they were too sketched out by all the Silkroad news they were reading at the time. Vitalik took that to an extreme and created an entire shitcoin based on that meme, and convinced millions of retards that it was actually useful.
