I've also been thinking this, but mostly based off of "it's too good to be true" hunches. I think I've been jaded ever since the Coinbase listing pump & dump. Agreed. My view is that Brave seems like a very simple concept to grasp. /biz/ brainlets were almost immediately on board with Brave - it's literally a better, more secure, less intrusive Chrome without 3rd party advertising. Easy.

BAT on the other hand is the long term play and really the entire benefit of Brave. So any major corporation that comes along and wants to buy out Brave needs to grasp the concept of BAT and see its potential. From what I've gathered, it seems like Brendan respects Apple the most and that's the only company I could see Brave succumbing to. You have a demand side (= advertisers) and a supply side (content producers and the Brave/BAT users they attract).
