She's not dead yet, just go spend some time with her, if she is in another state, learn to hitch hike if you can't afford to travel, the most brainlet of brainlets have hitch hiked regularly coast to coast at no cost except time.

She was my favorite grandma, the one on my dad side was kind of a bitch and hard to like. My mom said she was strict growing up but she was so nice to me and my brother and she's the last grand in my family. I spent a lot of my childhood in her farm home.
She lives on the other side of the world, she was visited few months ago but I felt like I didn't spend enough time with her while she was here.

Hang in there and be strong for her. It will mean a lot to her knowing you care about her.

My grandmother got diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in her 50s and was wheelchair bound by it in her 60s, she died of a stroke at 74 and I had to watch her when I wasn't working at my new job.
My mother's first child got cancer and died when she was in her early 20s. Because of this, they kept trying to have children to get another daughter, but got 4 boys. The last 2 came out severly disabled, but for one of them, the situation isn't so bad that they can't live a productive life.
Since my parents had more kids than they could afford, my grandfather had to constantly bail my parents out of trouble. My dad has gotten unfairly fired from a job several times and makes $20000 something a year, I'm constantly having to bail them out now. I'm the only one of my brothers to have done so so far. His kidneys gave out last year and he's on dialysis now.
I think my family is cursed right now. The first thing I'm going to do of I make with LINK is pay for brothers' education, try to get a gf, and give my family a financially stable future. The stress of being the primary winner at this age is killer. Everyone says I'm still young but I feel like an old man.
