Ok realistically, what are the chances of this coin reaching etherium levels in the next 2-3 years?

You shouldn't push this "Holo will replace BTC" meme too hard cause at this point it makes us Holochads look bad.
Make no mistake, BTC is ,and will be for a long time, digital gold. It's the oldest, largest, most secure and most tested digital currency in the world. We've had retards here in 2017 shilling Nano as the next BTC because of the fast transaction speed, as if the purpose of BTC is to be fast so that niggers can buy coffee at Starbucks. That's so not the point of it. Its value comes from giving you the option to transfer stupid amounts of value (billions of dollars) anywhere in the world in under an hour with the highest security. It's less important if it works as a day to day currency or not.

Where Holo comes into picture is with its asset-backed quality. At this point it might soon be the only real crypto that is assets backed by something useful, if you disregarded shit like USDT. Why is this important? Because it gives you a baseline for value. With BTC you can risk transferring 1 billion dollars and end up with 900 million on the other side because the market decided to dump in that exact moment. That's the only major flaw of BTC. It's 100% a victim of the market forces. With (future) Holo, that problem is solved because on a long enough timeline it will become value stable and technically price stable too. It would be close to impossible to manipulate the price. This is huge. It would allow for massive transfers of value with almost the same security as BTC, higher decentralization, but with none of the drawbacks. At that point Holo might indeed replace BTC as digital gold as well as a digital currency, but we're a long way from that.

Until then, accumulate, shill it to developers so that they build shit on it and buy hosting and don't get shaken out too soon.
