I'm looking to get into cryptocurrency, since it's all anyone here seems to talk about. I noticed and would like confirmation on:

- Shilling of various cryptocurrencies with no reliable tells whether or not anons are trying to trick you to buy before they dump, or they genuinely think it will be the next BTC

- Extremely volatile markets even for established cryptocurrencies, only plus side is that there relatively inexpensive to buy into

- Huge grey area as to how they will be regulated or utilized

- It's relatively easy to convert cryptocurrency into cash, but emerging cryptocurrencies are worthless (for now)

- Have any other cryptocurrencies appreciated in value like BTC? What separates them apart other then the amount or lack of support they get from anons willing to mine / pump money into them?
