Everything in capitalism is based around survival of the fittest. You are supposed to lose value in your entire net-worth over time. This is how you are forced to survive and keep making money and working; just like how animals in the wild must keep looking for food to survive because of hunger. When you look to nature you will see why capitalism works yet why nobody likes it at the same time.
