How do I join the XMRpool.net pool and use guiminer to mine monero?

>> No.13312561

Don’t know. But I know minexmr with xmrstak miner was easier for me to set up.

I have stak
how do I go about setting it up with the monero wallet?

>> No.13312693

>>13312671
Stak should have a bunch of config files. Open them, they're all documented with examples. Find the wallet section and replaced with yours.

The pool website will have all the port details etc which you also find and replace in the config

It's easy as fuck, just like above said. All the configuration is done right in the notepad config document or you can just fire up the exe and enter in the answers as it prompts you with questions.

I'm getting a bunch of 'memory allocation fails' and 'socket errors'

If you enjoy being fed off like a sucker there’s all kinds of guides online from shills.

If you don’t enjoy giving your wealth to market providers, mining vendors, dotcom venture capital and shilling filth you’ll STOP thinking about mining because there is NOT a free money tree.

what's your mining setup?

it's just my pc with a 1060 gpu

Does anyone know if it is completely safe to mine monero? Does the government have any way of knowing?

>> No.13313554

>>13312483
supportxmr is gay. you have to get .1 xmr to get a payout. with my rx580 i can only get that like once a year. it's dumb. no point in mining this shit.

looking for one that's a bit more profitable

>> No.13314037

i don't think there are any. nimiq is a pretty cool coin though. they have an optimized blockchain that can fit in your browser. and they plan to eventually switch to PoS in the future. It's worth mining a few. You can also hang out in the telegram group and the devs might throw you a few thousand nim if your nice enough and make them laugh.
