This shit is broken on /pol/ it breaks the google captcha. try it for yourself. also fails a lot of the pop up tests on popupblocker test com.

Shit like this is why i'm starting to doubt the brave/BAT project.

Why would you use this piece of shit instead of a browser that actual works with an ad blocker that actually blocks all ads?

that's my point though. what incentive do users have to use brave when it clearly can't block ads?

Works fine for me; why would it work here and not on /pol/ tho

That's why I don't believe in this browser. At least with uBlock and NoScript, no way for a popup to catch me off-guard. With Brave, it will block 90% of popups but then the 10% with malicious scripts will mess with your computer.

i don't know. but the captcha wont work there. it keeps showing things to click on but never gives the ok to post. try it for yourself.

Can't block popups...

>> No.13310048

I'm pretty sure it's the opposite-it blocks 90% of popups but lets the 10% of first-party ads through.

>>13309972
I just posted. I've had problems with captcha on other browsers too so I think it must be on their end.

(can't remember how this works to be honest but here goes nuffin')

Nah. Constantly got popups from porn streaming sites. That's where it should block 100% considering the shady ads they tend to serve. Get zero popups in Firefox.

They have nothing in place to prevent ad fraud. Nothing.

Google has been developing AI and analytic algorithms for the last 20 years to prevent ad fraud.

and those algorythims are useless too. google "chinese click farms" the truth is ad fraud is impossible to prevent. you can only try to mitigate it. and brave's centralized model is better than the current model at preventing fraud. brave controls behold and they will just kick you off the platform if they suspect you of fraud.
